Since the outbreak of the pandemic, more than two years have passed. In addition to affecting people's physical health, the pandemic has impacted their mental health as well. Society has always been plagued with stress and anxiety, but their incidence has increased dramatically in the past two years.
An acceptable level of stress and anxiety is expected in the work environment, and they also enhance performance in the long run. Stress and anxiety at work, however, must not be excessive to the point where the individual is unable to perform their daily basic routine. As a result, it can lead to a range of physical and mental illnesses.
People suffering from work-related stress have multiplied tenfold over the past two years. Approximately 9.6 million U.S. workers have lost their jobs in covid times.
